Simple and refreshing is how I describe this Sparkling Peach Sunrise. It is a twist on the Virgin Sunrise, with peach instead of orange juice and a little soda added to liven up the drink.

When I first made this drink I used fresh peach juice because peaches were in season. If you do not have a juicer or peaches are out of season, peach nectar can be used as well.

As with all "sunrise" drinks, the grenadine will naturally sink to the bottom of the glass and slowly integrate into the rest of the drink. If you prefer, give the drink a good stir to mix in that sweet syrup right away.

What You'll Need

How to Make It

  1. Pour the peach juice over ice in a highball glass.
  2. Fill with soda.
  3. Slowly pour the grenadine into the drink - it will sink to the bottom and gradually rise, integrating into the drink.
