We think we've found your new go-to summer sangria. Sweet, sparkling, and fruity, this cocktail brings together strawberries, rosé and vodka. Pretty in pink, this sangria is party-ready. While the recipe serves five, you can easily double the batch as long as you make it well ahead of time, as it does take 2 hours to chill and bring the flavors together nicely. Luckily, anything that has to be made ahead of time only makes your life that much easier come party time.
- 1 bottle rosé wine
- 1 cup strawberry flavored vodka, other berry vodkas would work too
- 2 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda
- 1/4 cup sugar or sugar to taste
- 10-15 strawberries, trimmed and sliced
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine wine, vodka, and 1/2 of the strawberries.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours to chill and to let the flavors combine.
Just before serving, add the soda and rest of the strawberries. Mix to combine. If you feel it needs more sugar, you can add some sugar now but be sure to mix well.
- Serve over ice.
