Spicy Lime Marinated Eye of Round Steaks

A wonderfully spice-flavored steak dish with a hint of Cuban flavors that can be served with grilled potatoes or sliced and served with a fresh green salad.

What You'll Need

  • 2 8-ounce/225 g beef eye round steaks, cut 1 inch thick
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon/5 mL garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon/5 mL cumin
  • 1 teaspoon/5 mL ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon/5 mL salt
  • 1 teaspoon/5 mL freshly ground pepper

How to Make It

  1. Combine lime juice, salt, garlic powder, cumin, pepper, and coriander.
  2. Trim off visible fat and place steaks in a resealable plastic bag. P
  3. our marinade over steaks, making sure to coat well and refrigerate for 30 minutes, turning once.
  4. Preheat grill and remove steaks from marinade.
  5. Place steaks on a hot grill and cook each side 4-5 minutes.
