We purchased Stadler Form Jasmine Aroma Diffuser so our writer could put it to the test. Keep reading for our full product review.
If you’re still on the fence about whether to get a Stadler Form Jasmine Aroma Diffuser for your home, read on for our detailed verdict about this essential oil atomizer.
Performance: Powerful Yet Quiet
The Stadler Form Jasmine Aroma Diffuser is Swiss-engineered and designed and uses advanced ultrasonic technology to transform water blended with essential aromatherapy oil into a very fine, sweet-smelling mist.
The Jasmine is one of the longest-running aroma diffusers on the market, with a 10ml water reservoir that makes it possible for you to operate the diffuser for a whole day (approximately 24 hours).
We were pleased to find that setting up the diffuser is a simple, intuitive process that takes just a couple minutes. To begin, simply fill the tank with water to the max line, add two to three drops of essential oil, plug in the diffuser, and let it get to work freshening your air. You can follow the same simple steps to refill the diffuser. Cleaning this unit is easy and requires only rubbing the tank with a damp cloth and then drying thoroughly. The Jasmine’s tactile, soft-touch coating also makes it a joy to handle and gives it an elegant matte finish.
We tested this unit in our medium-sized bedroom, and it has quickly become a home essential for us, soothing us to sleep at night and freshening stale air during the day. We love it so much that we plan to purchase a second diffuser to provide a similarly calming ambiance in our living room.
We love this diffuser so much that we plan to purchase a second one to provide a similarly calming ambiance in our living room.
You can use it in continuous mode, which allows you to use the diffuser for eight straight hours, or interval mode, which allows for up to 24 hours of use without the need to refill. When interval mode is engaged, the Jasmine will diffuse fragrance into the room for 10 minutes and then automatically switch off for 20 minutes, effectively delivering pleasantly small doses into the air. Another advantage of using interval mode is that your nose doesn’t become too accustomed to the fragrances, and you can, therefore, still smell them all the time. This unit also comes with a convenient automatic shutoff feature, turning off when the water tank is low on fluids.
We usually keep our diffuser on interval mode, but if we expect guests or need to clear the air of an unpleasant odor, we’ve found that continuous mode offers slightly quicker results.
The Jasmine is suitable for all commercial essential oils that don’t include alcohol or other chemicals. Unlike some other aroma diffusers on the market, the Jasmine, unfortunately, does not have any essential oils to get you started, which some may consider a negative. We separately purchased two bottles of Garden of Life Essential Oil in lavender (for nighttime) and lemon (for daytime), and they worked just fine. Essential oils can be expensive, but with the Jasmine, a little bit goes a long way, so a 0.5 fl oz bottle of oil will likely last for more than a month with daily use.
Design: Sleek and Modern
Made of high-quality, durable polypropylene plastic—non-toxic, non-absorbent, and stain-resistant—it seems like it will last a long time. The Jasmine features a sleek, contemporary design, and its 5-inch by 3-inch frame makes it one of the more compact aroma diffusers on the market. Despite its small footprint, the Jasmine has an impressively far reach and is suitable for use in rooms up to 540 square feet.
The Jasmine comes in several appealing colors, including black, red, titanium, and white. We chose the matte white color, which blends in effortlessly with our decor. Another perk of this diffuser is its low noise rating of 26 decibels or less. The Jasmine’s whisper-quiet operation goes a long way to providing a calming ambiance.
This excellent product is not entirely without some minor flaws. The indicator lights are very bright when we’re using the diffuser at night. Some people will appreciate this feature as a nightlight, while others (like us) who prefer to sleep in total darkness may be bothered by the ever-present glowing light. For those in the latter group, Stadler Form’s newest aroma diffuser, the Julia, has indicator lights that can be dimmed or switched off.
Another negative aspect of this diffuser is that it’s not wireless. It needs to be placed near an outlet or might require an extension cord. Most of the top-of-the-line aroma diffusers are corded (and not battery-operated) so, we can’t fault the Jasmine too much. We do like that this unit doesn’t rely on heat to produce mist, which means that the vapor won’t condense and ruin wood or other delicate surfaces.
Price: Lots of Bang for Your Buck
One of the best things about essential oil diffusers is that they’re surprisingly affordable. We’ve found that some lower-priced models can appear cheap. We love the Stadler Form Jasmine Aroma Diffuser because it checks all of the boxes: It’s attractive, effective, and reasonably priced, making it one of the best options on the market today. This diffuser also comes with a two-year warranty covering defects of construction, manufacturing, and material, making this purchase feel like an even safer bet.
Competition: A product for every price range
The Homesick Ultrasonic Aroma Oil Diffuser: Another highly rated aroma diffuser topping critics’ and customers’ lists is the Homesick Ultrasonic Aroma Oil Diffuser. Like the Jasmine, the Homesick uses ultrasonic technology to stream scents into any space subtly. This unit offers a tank that holds enough water for six hours of diffusing, two operation modes for either strong or standard misting, and a soft LED light to set the mood or serve as a nightlight. This hardworking diffuser also doubles as a humidifier. Despite these extra features, we prefer the Stadler Form for its longer runtime and the lower price ($50 compared to $90 for the Homesick).
URPOWER Essential Oil Diffuser and Cool Mist Humidifier: If this is your first time purchasing an oil diffuser, you may not be ready to invest in a high-cost unit like the Homesick, or even a mid-priced model like the Stadler Form. For less than $20, you can purchase URPOWER’s ultrasonic essential oil diffuser, which doubles as a cool-mist humidifier and night light, with seven color-changing lamps to allow you to choose the shade you find most soothing. Like the Jasmine, it has continuous and intermittent mist modes and an automatic shut-off feature. Unfortunately, it’s not as long-lasting and only runs for up to six hours at a time. However, some customers may find that this is all they need. For just $17, you don’t have much to lose if you decide to give this product a try.
