    1 cup sugar, divided (I've already divided them into two 1/2 cup measuring cups)
    3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla

    In a small bowl whisk together flour and 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside.

    Beat eggs until foamy. Once foamy, add cream of tartar and salt.
