Strawberry-Kiwi Sangria with White Wine

Fresh fruit, a favorite wine and a fizzy splash of your favorite soda and you are well on your way of mixing up a snazzy summer Sangria. The sweet, complementary flavors of strawberry and kiwi carry the white wine ensemble carry this particular treat to cocktail-like status. Perfect for summer sipping or backyard barbecues, our white wine, strawberry and kiwi based Sangria doesn't disappoint!

What You'll Need

  • 1 750 ml bottle of white wine (Spanish Albarino, Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes, or a white wine blend work particularly well with this recipe)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (washed, hulled and cut in quarters)
  • 3-4 kiwis (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup sugar 
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon (or lime, to add more acidity)

How to Make It

  1. Start this tasty Sangria out right by pouring the white wine into a large pitcher.
  2. Next add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Bring on the washed and sliced strawberry and kiwi fruit, add ​an optional squeeze of lemon or lime. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
  3. When ready to serve, add ice and 2 cups of your favorite lemon-lime soda to the pitcher. Gently stir. Pour and serve.
