Susan has been involved in the coin business from both sides of the dealer's table. Her first job as a young teen was sorting and grading wheat pennies for a mail-order dealer. Although Susan has never been a full-time coin dealer herself, she has worked for about a dozen different dealers in various capacities and knows the ins and outs of the business. She has become an ardent consumer advocate for collectors as the numismatic marketplace moves to online venues.
Susan is a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA,) through which she holds several certifications. She also belongs to the American Numismatic Society (ANS,) CONECA (error and variety coins club) and several regional and local coin clubs.
Media Inquiries: Susan is available for interviews and background on all coin-related subjects. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Today, my favorites are Ancient Greek and Roman coins, although I still avidly collect U.S. coinage as well, primarily Lincoln Memorial Cents, Jefferson Nickels, and various die varieties. I am also a rabid cherrypicker, sorting through several hundreds dollars' worth of circulating coinage per week.
I love sharing my knowledge about the hobby of collecting coins, and I hope I can pass along some of my enthusiasm to you! If there's something you'd like to read about, and I don't have it on my site, drop me a line!
