Have you ever wanted to make a Margarita in the middle of the woods? How about in the parking lot while tailgating before the game? The TailGator Blender is the answer to all of your wishes.

The TailGator Blender is gas-powered so you can blend great cocktails anywhere you can carry it, no need for electricity. You should be aware, though, that you may make more friends than you bargain for as the distinct chainsaw-like sound will attract any curious person nearby.

After they marvel at your "big boy toy," they'll be begging for a drink.

The TailGator Makes Smooth Drinks

A friend of mine has had a TailGator for years and I have to say, this blender is impressive. In fact, it gets used all the time and continues to make the smoothest Strawberry Daiquiris.

Anyone who is active and likes to drink something other than beer when they're out will find the TailGator a great investment. It's nice for those who live or camp off the grid. Adding it to your tailgating gear will ensure you always have a great drink during pre-game.

You will find that the large pitcher will make enough drinks for about four people at a time. The power behind the blender gives you smooth cocktails in less than a minute. Some TailGator fans even say that it makes better drinks than their kitchen blender.

How Does It Work?

A small gas tank on the side of the blender holds the power needed to run the motor.

It sounds like a chainsaw, leaving you no way to go unnoticed. If you're looking for a peaceful nature outing, this is not the way to go.

Everything about the mechanics of the blender is based on the chainsaw model. It is easy to operate once you get the hang of it though some users have troubles starting it at first.

If needed, ask someone to hold the pitcher while you pull the cord as it can get a little tippy.

Begin by adjusting the choke. While pressing the throttle trigger, pull the starter rope and you should be up and running. The throttle controls the blending action and it works just like a regular single-speed blender.

It is extremely efficient on gas and one tank should be all you need for a day's worth of drinks. Yet, you do have to remember to fill it up before you leave. If you're planning on extended use, carrying a gas can is required.

Final Thoughts

Overall, for a portable blender, this is a great choice though the cost is high. The pitcher is durable and the optional carrying case makes transporting it easy. There are very few reports of the blenders malfunctioning outside of the normal wear from extended use, but that can be expected of any appliance.
