People who come over to my apartment often ask me why I own both a Nespresso and a Keurig, but hey, variety is the spice of life, right? Since spending more time at home, I've found that I really do enjoy having access to both types of machines. I can make whichever type of coffee suits my mood, whenever I like—what's better than that?
However, as most of us know, Nespresso pods and Keurig pods are different in size and can prove challenging to store, particularly when you live in a small apartment like I do. I'm happy to report that I feel pretty organized as far as the K-cups go: I keep all of mine in a woven basket that sits on top of my refrigerator. But the Nespresso pods were giving me more trouble. They're little, of course, but need to be contained in some sort of basket so that they're not rolling around in my kitchen drawer.

While shopping at Target, I came across the perfect solution in the form of a little woven basket with a lid. The basket comes in two sizes, but I opted to purchase the bigger one given that my Nespresso pod collection is on the larger side (what can I say, I love to have an assortment of seasonal flavors on hand at all times!). I was also drawn to the basket's on-trend, coastal style... if you've been loving this year's coastal grandmother trend, you won't want to miss out on this find. I got home, popped my pods inside, and am really liking how the basket looks on the console in my kitchen. I could definitely see getting the smaller one the next time I'm at Target and using it to house sugar packets.

Even if you're not a coffee drinker, these lidded baskets are not to be missed. You could place them in the bathroom and use them to store things like cotton balls, tubes of lip balm, hair clips, or even a handful of travel sized toiletries. They would also look excellent on a desk; I personally am always in need of storage for things like paper clips, mini highlighters, postage steps, and other workday essentials. Why not corral your stuff in style with a couple of these woven guys?

Last but not least, I love the idea of gifting one of these baskets to someone for the holidays as part of a themed package. Maybe you and your siblings are chipping in on a Nespresso machine for your java obsessed parents—why not take things to the next level by also presenting Mom and Dad with a basket full of coffee capsules? Giving your sister a spa gift card? Fill one of these baskets with a couple of bottles of nail polish for her to continue the pampering experience at home. Sometimes, even the most generous gifts can feel a bit impersonal, and going the extra mile can really make all the difference.
