When it comes to designing a home, everyone has their preferences. While some might prefer bolder, brighter styles, others lean toward a more understated look. Some might go out of their way to make their homes incredibly aesthetic, while some just prefer to make the space more functional. While claiming what type of style is “best” is highly subjective, there is no denying that some people really bring their A game in regards to decorating and styling their homes. More often than not, the stars can give us a bit more insight into who has the upper hand when it comes to home decor.

Below is a ranking of all the zodiac signs, based on how good their taste in home decor is.

Libras know how to make a place aesthetically pleasing without having to try too hard—it’s honestly a gift.

Geminis are usually trying to create an atmosphere that makes the party come to them, and as such, their homes are usually the place to be. They are always aware of the most current trends—from paint color, to accessories, to in-home gadgets—so that their place tends to be more on the straightforward trendy side. However, they can’t argue that it means their space is on-point with whatever the current trends happen to be, and their flexible nature means they’re always adaptable to changing things up when called for.

Leos are certainly the ones you expect to follow the concept of “go big or go home”, and in their case, they will go all out in their homes. They believe their homes are a direct reflection of who they are, and so naturally, they will make sure it’s as bold and confident as their big personalities. While an attitude like this could cause some people to overdo it, most Leos know exactly how to make their homes an attention-grabbing atmosphere without just haphazardly throwing something together—they’re detailed in their execution.

Cancers aren’t always ones to really focus on what they want, but what will make others feel comfortable in their space. They are more focused on making the space cozy and a retreat from the outside world, so while the space may not always be a statement of their personalities, they still have a knack for creating a very stylish, cozy atmosphere in their homes that is hard not to fall in love with.

Capricorns tend to prefer a minimalist, modern style in their homes—something that looks effortless and is more fixated on productivity than aesthetics for the sake of a look. Nonetheless, their affinity for neutral palettes and sleek lines and furniture tend to give them a classic edge, and you can’t really go wrong with going the classic route.

Pisces are extremely creative and day-dreamy, which means that they will have a ton of ideas for their lovely home decor, but their need to keep things relaxed and open will take more precedence over creating a cohesive design. They’ll have a lovely color scheme but maybe more mismatched accessories/furniture pieces, or a general idea for a theme, but not a strong focus on balancing things out. While their home will be relaxed and free-flowing, it may not always top the list for “most stylish” to some.

Scorpios will design their place to be their own private escape from the outside world, but that doesn’t mean they won’t put any effort into style or design—it just won’t fall into traditional patterns. A Scorpio will either stick to a very dark color scheme and hidden aspects to their home, or a bright, strong color with unique accessories to show off their inner thoughts and feelings. Either way, their focus is more on their own privacy, so it’s a wild card as to how intently they’ll try to design their space to be “stylish.” (Truth be told, Scorpios don’t really care what anyone thinks of their choices, as long as they like them.)

An Aquarius is more interested in investing their time and money into other things they prioritize over decorating their own space. Always aiming for quirky and different, they’ll make their space different from trends in an act of rebellion. Though Aquarius people are extremely creative and unique in their interests and style, they aren’t really concerned with creating a “stylish” home design. They will let their homes be a direct reflection of what’s important to them, but they don’t feel the need to make things look perfect or trendy.

Aries are bold risk takers, which can give them a strong edge in pulling together an incredible home design scheme. Yet, their indecisiveness tends to get in the way of their ability to finish what they start. They may get really excited at bringing a certain theme or pattern into their homes, but they’ll get tired of dealing with the details quickly, which can make their homes seem more rushed and thrown together than thoughtfully decorated and designed. At the end of the day, this doesn’t bother them too much, since they’re usually ready to go out into the world for an adventure rather than retreat and stay in their homes.
