Product Review and Recommendation

I love the slim little packs of Tide To Go Stain Erasers that slip easily into a pocket. I actually prefer them to the Tide To Go Pen because of their size. I also like that there is little chance of leaking unless punctured prematurely.

The micropad is a very simple way to apply the stain remover and easy to use. My only tip is to hold the eraser pad side down as you pinch the ends to release the stain remover. On my first try, I was holding the pad vertically and some of the cleaning fluid dripped on my desk.

According to the Tide website, the eraser is meant to remove a stain about the size of a quarter and you should use more than one if the stain is larger. They are right! I made a ketchup stain test on a piece of cotton that was about 3 inches wide and it took more than one eraser to treat the stains.

As with most stains, I had the best results with fresh stains that had just happened. Dried stains were harder to remove and some just didn't come completely clean. As with any stain remover, be sure to wash or dry clean the stained garment or linen as soon as possible.
