Sam I Am explains how you can make cute turtles using paper bowls, a piece of cardboard, a few basic craft supplies, and your imagination.

    • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
    • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

    Materials Needed:

    • Paper Bowl
    • Lightweight Cardboard
    • Paint
    • Wiggle Eyes
    • Craft Glue
    • Scissors
    • Paint Brush

    Instructions:
Use...MORE scissors to cut out turtle legs, head, and tail from cardboard. You can use a cereal box or any other thinner cardboard you can find.

Paint the back side of the bowl green along with the head, legs, and tail. While I painted mine green, use your imagination and paint your turtle using whatever colors and designs you like.

Once all of the paint is dry you can glue the legs, head, and tail under the turtle body. Glue the wiggle eyes onto the turtle's head.
