What's better than vegan cheese? Vegan cheese fondue! It simply doesn't get much better, or more indulgent, than vegan cheese fondue.

This recipe is an easy homemade cheesy vegan fondue using vegan cheese! If you like fondue and have a fondue pot, here's how to make a deliciously creamy and cheesy vegan fondue perfect for an elegant and nostalgic vegetarian and a dairy-free appetizer or party food.

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 2 tbsp vegan margarine
  • 1/3 cup vegan cheese, cubed (I like Follow Your Heart's Vegan Gourmet brand best)
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • dash salt and pepper (to taste)

How to Make It

  1. In a fondue pot over medium-low heat, melt the vegan margarine, soy milk, and soy cheese. Add tahini and stir until combined. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. You may need to add a bit more cheese or soy milk to get the consistency that you want.
  3. Use fresh vegetables, chunks of French bread or flavored tofu ​dipper.
