Zoë Roscoe is your go-to girl for everything from holiday trends to organizing tips. She covers home news for The Spruce and has also been published on Apartment Therapy, Lonny, BuzzFeed, Reader’s Digest, Parade, and more.
She’s a gift guide expert, home decor lover, Cacio e Pepe snob, and charcuterie board connoisseur. Experience
Zoë is a regular contributor for The Spruce. If you’re looking to find out how to make the most epic charcuterie board for each holiday or learn everything from the coolest holiday trends on the market to unique organization tips, Zoë is your girl.
She also writes about everything in the lifestyle space for BuzzFeed, Apartment Therapy, Parade, The Manual, Reader’s Digest, and more. Not only does she love to write about holiday trends, but she has a passion for gift guides, travel, fashion trends, and home decor stories.
Before becoming a freelance writer, Zoë was the Market Editor at Family Circle magazine for over four years. Styling everything from fashion shoots to home decor stories, she was the team’s expert on all of the groundbreaking trends, brands, and products emerging in the market.
Being able to juggle and become an expert in many different markets doesn't happen overnight, and Zoë’s position at Oprah magazine as the fashion assistant prepared her for this kind of multitasking. Here she supported the fashion department, managed the sample closet and interns, and made sure that the clothing and accessories for each shoot with Oprah were organized and presented with great care.
In her free time, Zoë loves traveling, exploring new fitness classes, and trying new restaurants. Her ideal night includes socializing with friends over martinis and a big bowl of Cacio e Pepe.
Education
Zoë attended Quinnipiac University and received her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations. During her time there, she discovered her passion for travel and food when she studied abroad in Barcelona.
She spent a summer interning at Slate PR in their events department and fell in love with the entertainment industry. While she thought her path was to become a girlboss in the PR field, shortly after graduation she was presented with an opportunity to become a fashion intern at People StyleWatch Magazine (RIP).
After experiencing what was on the other side of PR and learning from some of the industry's top editors and stylists, she knew her degree was going to help her with her writing endeavors, but she needed to incorporate styling into her career.
